Our Junior Church Program

Junior ChurchJunior Church is open to all children from Kindergarten to 5th grade. It is held during the 2nd Sunday morning service every Sunday except the 1st Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday) during the months of September through May.

Children get dismissed by the Pastor after the "Moments With the Young Disciples," giving them the opportunity to be present for the beginning of the church service with their parents. Junior Church takes place in the Chapel and lessons are designed to coordinate with the lectionary topic of the Pastor's sermon for that Sunday, so that children and their parents have a common discussion point after church. Children are taken back up to the sanctuary to be present for the dismissal with blessing.
